Phone & tablet — web app

Remnus installs straight from the browser as a web app (PWA) — no App Store or Play Store needed. It gets its own icon on your home screen, opens full-screen, and updates automatically.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)Open remnus.com in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose “Add to Home Screen”.
Android (Chrome)Open remnus.com in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then choose “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).
What is Remnus Desktop?

Remnus Desktop is the native app version of your Remnus cloud workspace, built with Tauri. It runs in its own window using a lightweight system WebView instead of a heavy bundled browser, so it stays fast and small. On top of the full web experience it adds desktop conveniences like a system tray, global shortcuts, native notifications, and close-to-tray. Everything stays in sync with the web and mobile apps, so your pages, databases, and workspaces are always up to date across every device.

System requirements
WindowsWindows 10 or later (64-bit). Uses the built-in WebView2 runtime, which ships with current versions of Windows.
macOSmacOS 11 Big Sur or later. Both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs are supported through separate downloads.
LinuxA modern 64-bit distribution with WebKitGTK 4.1. The AppImage runs almost anywhere; the .deb targets Debian and Ubuntu.
Installation notes

Windows (.exe)

Run the installer and follow the prompts. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose “More info” then “Run anyway” — the build is not yet code-signed.

macOS (.dmg)

Open the .dmg and drag Remnus into your Applications folder. On first launch, right-click the app and choose “Open” to bypass the Gatekeeper warning for unsigned apps.

Linux (.AppImage / .deb)

For the AppImage, make it executable (chmod +x Remnus-*.AppImage) and run it directly. For Debian or Ubuntu, install the package with sudo apt install ./Remnus-linux-amd64.deb.
